Update

After my exams two weeks ago, I accidently entered a stage of laziness from which I recently escaped. Here's another update on Project Copycat:

Instead of studying human anatomy after that, I took a good look at a book about animals: "Anatomische Zeichenschule Tier" by Andras Szunyoghy and György Feher. I can only recommend this book, there are lots of detailed illustrations and notes which are actually helpful. It's the best book on animal anatomy that I know.

Hey!
Since I've started studying communication design, I haven't had much time for project copycat. Instead, I've been doing my homework like a good student, which luckily included doing a few sketches.
Here are some poses:

I also decided to take a look at fashion because I realized that I will need some sense of fashion in the near future. For a start, I visited lookbook.nu and did sketches of outfits I liked. I hoped that I could also practise human anatomy by doing so.

Once again, a new beginning :D

Hello there!

There haven't been any updates for a long time - like always, I suppose. More updates will come because I'm going to study communications design starting from next week, you can congratulate me on that :)

Another reason for that is a sudden change that I went through Saturday night after seeing Algenpfleger's (http://algenpfleger.deviantart.com/) constant progress and stunning willpower one more time. Well, I have been a fan for quite some time, but Saturday, I was like "hey, you should draw ALL the things he has drawn and posted on that thread at conceptart.org (http://conceptart.org/forums/showthread.php?t=114449) That way, you will become as good as him in just 50 years or so!!!111!!!!!!!!11!11!1"

Is that an epic idea or what?
So I started to re-read that thread and did my first 64 sketches from posemaniac-models (posemaniac.com)


I mostly drew 2 figures on one page of printing paper.

Instead of studying Bammes, I could only look at the pictures in some old Chinese books since I can't afford Bammes' books yet :/
